What, how and where do we want to learn?

Save the date: launch event Etcetera 166

On the occasion of our December issue on Making School, Etcetera and RITCS invite you to participate in a conversation (in English) about meaningful learning experiences. Together with you, and amongst others creators Hans Bryssinck, Sarah Vanhee and Aurelie di Marino, we will explore the question: what, how and where do we want to learn?

Performing arts practices are increasingly a context for knowledge sharing. For investigations into how we learn and what knowledge actually is. Festivals, artists and culture houses are setting up alternative schools or organising workshops, in which experimental and participatory learning models are used. Are we increasingly abandoning the classical knowledge circuit as a learning model? And how do the study programmes respond to this changing (artistic) practice?
